We. Are. Home.

We are back... and in full swing of being a clan of 5!

I posted oodles of pictures on facebook of our Homecoming Day... every time I look at them I get a bit misty-eyed.

We. Are. Home.

A 2 year journey in the making... unbelievable.

Sometimes, when I hear the girls giggle... or our son asks, "Mom, I ride bike now?"... I still can't believe they are home.

No more sending Care Packages thousands of miles away...

No more waiting for 703 to dial our phone with good news, bad news or no news from Ethiopia...

No more wondering the when's and if's of our three beauties coming home...

We now have:
hours upon hours of syrup filled kisses, belly-laughing giggles, Amharic stories...

My next blog post will hold:
1. Highlights of our final trip to Ethiopia
2. Highlights of our Homecoming
3. What's been happening in our lives... the good, the hard, the challenging and the lovely...

One thing I'm reminded on a daily basis.... God uses each moment on this journey as a refining moment to use to shape us more into His image.

One thing I know for certain - I am happily exhausted... a beautiful kind of exhausted because three amazingly lovely children with the last name of Wanderer are asleep in their beds in our home in Virginia... and we are a forever family.

Thankful.
