Yes, yes, yes and yes!
With our children's homecoming quickly approaching, my stomach is housing a swarm of butterflies! I have been thinking/praying/dreaming of them being home... but as the day approaches, I am a bit scared.
Of what, you ask?
- Being a Mom...
- Learning their three little personalities...
- Their hearts that need healing...
- Pointing these three hearts to Jesus...
- My youngest two and their primary (and only current) language being Amharic...
- Having a teenager...
- Having a preschooler...
- Having an elementary child..
What am I most excited about, you ask?
- Being a Mom...
- Learning their three little personalities...
- Loving their hearts and watching them heal...
- Pointing them to Jesus...
- Watching my youngest two learn English while still embracing Amharic...
- Having a Teenager...
- Having a preschooler...
- Having an elementary child...
- Being a parent-team with Ed...
- Watching our parents be the best Grandparents any three children have ever seen...
One thing is for certain... it will not be boring as God continues to draw us closer to His side and to each other! I can't think of anything more beautiful (and hard), (and exciting), (and fearful), (and thrilling) (etc....)!
